Question Pre-searing bug since the update

I've recently posted this B4 w/ no answer from NE one on what is going on. Then I sent the question the the support team from guild wars from the main site. They tell me to post on one of the fan sites. So here is my last attempt to figure this out.
Since the new Factions update (logon screen and char creation layout) The only characters that get head armor are the warriors. All the other professions start out w/ no head armor at all. Is this something they havent caught yet or realized? b/c there is no where in pre to get head armor and never has been.
I just hope that someone from A-net gets this msg and can fix it so that the other characters arent running around missing a part of armor while the warrior runs around w/ a full set. Thank you for taking the time to read my post I hope someone can help me and other w/o head armor in pre.

Doesn't seem to be a Glitch or Bug.

I say that because EVERYTHING related to headgear in the Character creation has been removed. Example: The option to dye your armor basic colors before starting the character was added for PvE characters last month - Now you can no longer pick a color for headgear (it doesn't even show headgear for non-warriors anymore).

That tells me Anet did it on propose. No "error" can totally remove reference to headgear on every character type other than warrior. If it were a glitch then it'd be like..it just not showing up after your character loads in for the first time...but as it is right now..I gotta say We are Proposely not getting headgear.

This actually goes more with Anet's main idea though. Awhile ago (around Wintersday update) someone asked Gaile about whether other classes will get special helms like the Warriors Lt. helm, and the response as something around this - "We consider headgear a mainly Warrior class thing".

This can be seen in the fact that Warriors have NO LESS then about 5-6 more choices for helmets than any other class - they even have helmets that go with different armor sets, all other classes just have 4 basic headgears for the 4 attributes.

Obviously warriors need more head protection choices than other characters. This is because they tend to charge in HEAD FIRST into the nearest group of mobs/trees/walls. This leads to chafing and therefore a greater need for 'protective devices' surrounding the brain.

Erm sorry, my monk persona got out for a bit there.

What are you guys talking about, in the character creating screen once you get to the head there is a small check mark to enable or disable viewing of head gear.

You just have to click it.

Anet will not remove head gear for other characters, they just meant that warriors get helms since they need protection. But technically scars/tattos/masks and eyes also give armor bonus level to other characters.

Just creat an elm or mesmer and check the box and you will see that you can able to view it.

I will make one and post it when I get home.

uhm...its not a bug....the new update DID change this, as I just created a new character 3 nights ago. The option of 'showing or not' is simply invalid...IT DOES NOT EXSIST! I hope your not deleting a character to improve your ego..because it will seriously damage it once you see that there is, infact, no headgear.

I stand corrected, when I got home yesterday I made a PvE character and it starts with no head piece. Very strange indeed.

has anyone taken that *head-less headgeer* character to post seering yet to see if the non-tanks get the normal head items such as tats and scars and so on yet?

wondering in case it has somethng to do with the fact that i dont remember having to swap stuff with a colector for head apparel till i hit post seering....

maybe thats the reason, since we dont actually *use* the head stuff till post seer, but the tanks heed thier head-cusheions back in pree searing still, there are, like Andy M said, a lot of trees and walls in pree
